If you are working on finding the right food label design for your product, one thing you might be trying to decide is whether a box or a bag will better suit your needs. Both of them have their share of advantages and disadvantages. Read on to find out which one you should choose.
Transportation
First, let’s look at whether boxes or bags will be better when they are transported.
When transporting items, products that are lightweight and compact will be less expensive to ship.
Cardboard boxes are lightweight and easy to stack together. You can easily arrange them on a pallet or in the back of a truck or van. However, you may need additional packaging to keep the boxes from rattling around in a large space.
Bags are easy to fit together as well, but you may need to protect them from damage. Therefore, you might end up having to put your bags inside of a box anyway.
